Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial health/operations, strategic planning, and overall fiscal compliance. This role leads initiatives in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management across the organization's existing programs and proposed initiatives. The CFO ensures grant compliance, prepares financial reports for the board, and manages organizational risk while focusing on long-term financial sustainability and overall donor trust. Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in youth development, nonprofit work, or community impact. Experience in financial work such as internships, student organizations, or budgeting projects is preferred. Strong candidates are proactive, detail-oriented, ethically minded, and capable of critical thinking around financial sustainability. This role requires strong communication skills to effectively collaborate between the executive team and the Board of Directors, along with the ability to work as part of our mission-driven team. Through this role, candidates will gain hands-on experience in financial leadership while contributing to the long-term sustainability of the organization.
Director of Partnerships & Community Engagement
The Director of Partnerships & Community Engagement is responsible for outreach strategy, managing community partnerships, event planning, and supporting fundraising initiatives. This role is responsible for identifying and securing community partnerships, collaborating with internal and external contacts to develop programs and ensure responsiveness to community needs. Additionally, this role represents the organization in public forums to build trust with community members and strengthen the organization’s presence and network. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated interest in youth development, nonprofit work, or community impact with prior experience in leadership, outreach, event planning, or relationship-building skills. Strong candidates demonstrate interpersonal skills, initiative, organization, resourcefulness, and strong written and verbal communication abilities. Through this role, candidates will gain hands-on experience in community engagement and outreach while helping expand the organization’s overall impact.
Director of Policy, Advocacy & Research
The Director of Policy, Advocacy & Research is responsible for developing and advancing the organization’s policy agenda and translating research into actionable advocacy efforts that align with the organization’s mission. This role conducts and oversees qualitative and quantitative research, synthesizes findings into clear recommendations, and builds relationships with community leaders and advocacy partners. This role also monitors legislative and regulatory developments pertinent to the organization's mission. Ensuring that the organization’s voice is effectively represented in public and policy spaces. Ideal candidates will have experience or strong interest in research, policy, and community impact, along with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences. Successful candidates demonstrate strong time management, critical thinking, attention to detail, research capability, communication skills, and ethical judgment. Through this role, candidates will gain hands-on experience in policy research and advocacy while contributing to evidence-based solutions that advance the organization’s success.
